David LaFollette

David Wesley LaFollette, age 90, of Missoula, Montana, passed away Monday morning, January 2, 2017at his residence.
David was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 1, 1926 to Earl E. LaFollette and Ruth V. (Raver) LaFollette. He was raised in New Albany, Ohio. His family moved back to Columbus during his high school years.
While living and working in Columbus, Ohio he met his future wife, Irene Jones. David and Irene were married on June 2, 1959 in Columbus. To this union were born two daughters.
In the course of their married life, the LaFollettes went on to live in North Dakota and Montana. David worked at a variety of jobs in Ohio and North Dakota. Upon moving to Montana, he worked as a parts manager at Rangitsch Brothers until his retirement in 1988.
Survivors include two daughters: Amy LaFollette of Shoals, Indiana, and Aline Irving of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene, his parents, and two sisters: Gwinevere Krzewinski and Carol Brooks.
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM also at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
