MISSOULA ~ Delores Katherine Pfaff (Raab), 78 years old, of Missoula passed away of natural causes on Friday March 10th, 2023. Delores was born February 18, 1945 in Dickinson, North Dakota, daughter of Michael and Susanna Raab. Delores and her family lived on a farm where her and her siblings did various chores along with fun adventures and mischief.
Delores met her husband to be, Henry Pfaff, and they were married in North Dakota. Mom spent her earlier days cleaning houses and taking care of her family. She enjoyed going on family drives, vacations, and gardening. The family spent time together out in the wilderness gathering firewood and enjoying the outdoors and the wildlife. Delores liked to collect different trinkets and collectables throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking and baking and her family always had good meals and desserts. Later in her life she enjoyed playing bingo, lunches, and spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her son Paul (Sheila) of Spokane and her daughter Ann (Tim) of Missoula; grandson, KC of Missoula and granddaughter, Alexandria of Spokane. She is also survived by her sister, Bernice of Missoula.
There will be a niche opening, her husband Henry Pfaff’s, in which Delores’ remains will be placed along with his on Thursday March 16th at 3:00 pm for those who would like to attend. This will be happening at Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Missoula.
We would like to extend our thanks to St. Pat’s Hospital and their staff for taking care of Delores in her time of need and their communication throughout her stay.
Arrangements are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Missoula.
