MISSOULA ~ Diana Orlene Neumiller, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at home after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was surrounded by her family.

She was born August 23, 1940 in St. Ignatius, MT to Orville and Catherine Slenes. She is a member of the Confederated Salish and KootenaiTribes. She moved to Anaconda where she attended school before moving to Missoula, where she worked 33 ½ years at the Doubletree Hotel.

She married Monty Neumiller April 7, 1984.

Diana loved to go bowling and she was active in the Moose and Eagles Lodge.

Surviving are two daughters, Catherine (Dave) Kaudy of Missoula and Mary Scalise of Anaconda; one son, Steven (Trina) Stipech of Ohio; four grandchildren, Thomas (Melinda) Trueax of Washington, John (Teresa) Trueax of North Dakota, Benjamin (Ingrid) Trueax of Missoula, Sarah Trueax of Alaska and several great-grandchildren. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Father Kirby Longo will officiate.
