Dolores Ann Lehman (Petersen) 09/15/1938 - 05/04/2023
Dolores "Baby Ann" Lehman (Petersen) was born September 15, 1938 in Missoula, MT to Roscoe and Sarah Petersen. She was the youngest of 13 children. She grew up in Cyr, MT and took the train to school in Alberton until she graduated. Throughout her childhood she enjoyed spending time with her siblings who adored her, hence the name "Baby Ann". Dolores went on to marry John C. Lehman in 1956 whom she met at a school dance. Together, they raised 5 beautiful children who were blessed with her unconditional love and kindness. She was firm in her Christian faith which she passed on to her children. When she wasn't taking care of her children and our home, she enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, gardening, attending church and attending to numerous farm animals and spending time with her family which included many camping trips. Many friends have crossed paths with her throughout her life and have been blessed by her beautiful smile and kindness. Above all, was her grandchildren and great grandchildren who she cherished. She is loved immensely and will be greatly missed until the day we eventually join her, our dad, and brother in heaven. Hopefully we will once again enjoy the aroma of her delicious bread baking in the oven and the warmth of her hugs.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents Roscoe and Sarah and her twelve siblings: Mary, Emma Gretta, Roscoe "Bud", William (Bill), Elizabeth "Betty", Sarah Audrey "Dolly", Leona "Noni", Ray, James (Jim), Frank, Joseph (Joe), and Luis "Ludi”. As well as her husband John and son Gerald "Jerry". She is survived by her 4 remaining children: Katy Schilling (Tim), John D. Lehman (Connie), Theresa Gong (Rob), and Sheila Pfaff (Paul) and her beloved grandchildren: Jeremiah, Jonathan, Ruth/Justin and Ethan (Katy/Tim), Nicole/Tim, John R./Heather, and Danny/Siera (John/Connie), Katrina and Nathanael(Theresa/Rob), and Alexandria(Sheila/Paul) and great grandchildren Mariah, Rachel, Jason(Ruth/Justin), Jace, Clara, Artemi, Adam, Kit(Nicole/Tim), Hartlee, Bentley(Ethan), Wyatt and Beau (Danny/Siera), Cam and Jake/Val(John R./ Heather) and great great-grandchildren: Psymon, Eren (Jake/Val) and many, many beloved nieces and nephews.
