Donna Betts

Donna Betts of Turah went home to live with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, surrounded by friends and family at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

She was born in Missoula to Robert and Mary (Chapman) Barta and grew up in the Bonner-Turah area. As a child, Donna attended Sunday school at the Lutheran Church in Bonner and Bonner Elementary School. She later graduated from high school in Missoula.

Donna was a selfless, strong, tender, kind-hearted, loving wife of 43 years to Frank A. Betts, a mother of five boys, and a grandmother of 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She loved cooking, canning, baking, huckleberry picking, sapphire mining, nurturing plants, taking care of the elderly and spending time with friends and family.
