Elizabeth A Younger

Elizabeth (Betty) Younger, 91, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017, in Missoula MT.
Betty was born in Owatonna, MN to Miles and Evelyn Krier. She was raised in Rochester MN and
graduated from Mankato Teachers College. She married Garland Younger in Rochester in 1947 and
taught school for the Rochester District, finishing her career at Bamber Valley and Golden Hill schools.
She was employed by the Mayo Clinic in the travel office following her teaching career.
Survivors include son, Lyman “Cole” of Arlee; grandson T.J. (Anita) and great-grandsons, Logan and Blake,
of Vancouver WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John, her husband, Garland;
daughter-in-law, Marilyn (McGuire) Younger and her granddaughter, Shari (Younger) Hert.
Graveside services will be held Fri, Sept 15 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Missoula, MT at 10:00 am.
