Kingman, AZ

KINGMAN, ARIZONA ~ Gayelle Sullivan passed away at home in Kingman on February 4, 2024.  She is survived by her son, Adam (Tara) Britzius, her grandchildren, Colton, Taylor, Addisyn, and Max Britzius, her great grandchildren, Aliya and Aries Britzius, and her siblings, Joyce (Dudley) Anderson, Mike (Donna) Britzius, Ralph (Deb) Britzius, and Rob Britzius.

Gayelle received her elementary ed degree from Eastern Montana College in Billings, Montana.   She went on to teach in Washington State and Kingman, AZ.  She loved story time, all the drawings and love notes from the children, and seeing the students’ pride in their accomplishments and knowing that she had a part in their accomplishments.  Gayelle made many great friends while teaching and continued those friendships after retirement.  What a treasure those friends were.

We remember Gayelle loving music, her friends, her family, kitty, and getting to know something about everybody she met.  She was so proud of her son and treasured their long conversations.

A memorial service will be held in Missoula, MT on July 5 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. followed by a gathering at the home of her sister, Joyce Anderson.

Gifts in memory of Gayelle may be sent to Cornerstone Mission; 3049 Sycamore Ave.; Kingman, Az 86409.   To express your condolences online please visit www.sunsetfuneralhomecemetery.com.
