Hilda L Suess

Hilda L. Suess was welcomed into Heaven, January 19th. She was born August 16, 1915 to Merchant and Annie Hankins in Oklahoma. Their blue-eyed baby was not only beautiful but Hilda came also with a superior intellect. When she finished Oklahoma Baptist University with suma cum laude honors, she was only 19. In her continuing education Hilda manifested multiple talents as painter, sculptor and musician. She was a member of both the Anchorage Symphony and Alaska Methodist University Orchestras. She was strong, courageous, and adventurous; an avid reader and ace Scrabble player.
Hilda married Ed Suess in 1975 and they traveled extensively as he did his post-graduate work. They enjoyed England, Scotland, Europe, the Holy Land, Fiji, Australia and South America.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Steve. She is survived by her loving husband, Ed; daughter, Kay and son, Warren (Joy) Malach of Sacramento, California.
