John Joseph Strong Jr.

John Joseph Strong, Jr. was born on June 29, 1957, in Anaconda. He died on April 30, 2018, in Missoula. John passed away while asleep in his bed at home from complications with cancer. John lived a full life and collected many friends along the way. He was known for his great sense of humor, kind disposition, and his love of music. He enjoyed many hobbies. He loved to tinker on cars and bikes, do yard work, and just be outside. He was a gifted handyman and could fix almost anything.

He is survived by his sweetheart, Tami Jellison, his daughter, Nichole Eileen Neuhaus, his son, Jeremy Neuhaus (Jessica Miller), his beloved nephew, Billy Strong, his grandchildren, Pollux, Stacey, Emily, Grace, Faith, Nathan, Jr., Cole, and John "TJ" Neuhaus, and his step-children Charlie, Jacob, Austin, Bridger, Travis, Brianna and Katie-bug.

He is preceded in death by his son, John "LJ" Neuhaus, his dear sister Kathy Strong, his mother, Eileen Strong, and his father, John Joseph Strong, Sr.

He will be missed by many. The family is planning a memorial/celebration of life BBQ at the Jellison Residence on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 3 p.m. Please bring your favorite dish to share and your favorite story about John.
