Kristen Nicole Garner

CHARLO ~ Our beloved Kristen Nicole Garner departed this earth on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Born February 18, 1994 in Missoula, MT, she is survived by her partner, Devin Brien Bauer, and her two sons, Joshua Bjorn and Devin Saxon Bauer, as well as her mother, Wendy Garner.

 She attended Hellgate Elementary and Middle School, Big Sky High School and the University of Montana. In her youth she attended the gifted program at Carroll College during the summer and, one year, the French camp at Georgetown Lake.

 Her jobs focused on retail apparel, working as a retail clerk for Abercrombie & Fitch, an Assistant Manager at American Eagle Outfitters and, ultimately, as Apparel Manager for Grizzly Harley-Davidson.

 Having fun with her family and friends sometimes included riding inner tubes down the Clark Fork River, but, most of all, she cherished spending time with Devin and her boys. The tree fort she built for them and the personal playground she and Devin created for them has more to offer two young boys than most municipal parks. Her family, and the extended family she had in Devin's family, were the sources of her happiest and most rewarding moments of the last several years. Kristen touched many lives with the light of her bright, sunny smile and will be missed by us all.

Arrangements are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Missoula.
