Lawrence "Buz" Baitshots

– Buz Baitsholts was born Oct. 17, 1937 in Rensselaerville, New York. He died at home Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 in Missoula.

4.5 million miles over the road coast to coast, no chargeable accidents. No wonder he was not a traveling guy after retiring the big truck, home was his heart's desire.

Love of family, neighbors, community and country was Buz's purpose. He had the work ethic that comes from being raised on the family farm, hard work, dairy cows and the equipment to operate. Ask his Aunt Kate and she will tell you she can't remember a time that Buz didn't have have a steering wheel in his hand. Buz didn't operate machinery, he made it dance.

Buz is survived by wife Dianna, sister Janice (Dave), sons Jim (Beverly), Todd (Michele), Trevor (Daniele), his daughter Terry (Ralph) and stepson John. Buz was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Buz didn't do fuss, so no services are planned. People who knew Buz know the man he was. The world needs more like him.
