Lucile Peggy Cavin, passed away on Oct. 2, 2017, quietly in her sleep. Peggy had just celebrated her 104th birthday weeks earlier with her children.
Lucile Vivian Cavin, known as Peggy was born on September 17, 1913 in De Smet, S. Dak. to Lena Mae and John Jepson. She was raised in Eastern Montana where she married Roger Harris. They had two children. In 1946, Peggy married Ray Glenn Cavin of Missoula. They had three children. All of the children were raised in Missoula.
Peggy is preceded in passing by her husband, Ray Cavin, son, Rodger Kent Harris, brothers; Wesely, George, and Howard Jepson and sister, June Flint.
She is survived by daughters; Sharon Kay Harris (Gary) Algot, of Alberta, Canada, Penny Rae (Larry) Hines, of Mountain Home, ID., Melody Vena Cavin, of Alberta, Canada, and son Terry William Cavin, of Missoula, as well as thirteen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Missoula or to the organization of the donor’s choice.
