MaryLou Bohenek

HELENA ~ MaryLou Bohenek passed away in Helena Mt. of natural causes on Friday July 5th, 2024. Born on January 3, 1953 in Long Island New York to John and Mary Bohenek. MaryLou was the youngest of four siblings, She was raised in New Hyde Park and Floral Park. 

In 1979, MaryLou and her daughter Caryn packed up with her parents and sister to move to Missoula, Mt. where her two brothers had already started businesses in plumbing and a restaurant/bar. MaryLou worked for both of her brothers and became to voice of AAA Plumbing and Heating.

In 1984 MaryLou met and married the love of her life Jim Burrows. They lived the majority of their marriage in Missoula, with some time in Idaho Falls, eventually landing in Helena.

MaryLou was known for her sharp quick wit and her love of all animals. She loved going on drives with Jim and taking pictures of all of God’s creatures.

 She is survived by her husband Jim of Helena Mt, and her daughter and best friend Caryn (Gregg) Cooney of Missoula, Mt

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary; brothers, John and Ken, and sister Karen.
