Michael David LaPaglia

Michael ‘David’ LaPaglia, 47 of Missoula Montana passed away on Sunday February 19, 2017 of a heart attack.
David was born May 31, 1969 in Wurzburg Germany. At the age of 5 he was adopted in Germany by Michael R La Paglia and Jeanne (Wittmer) La Paglia while Michael was serving in the military. The family lived in Texas for a while and once his dad finished in the military, Michael and David moved to New Mexico for his dad to pursue his education. Eventually David made his way to Missoula Montana.
David was always a kind friend to those around him. He was the kind of person who would go out and get you soup or cough medicine when you were sick. He would just listen, when a friend needed to talk. He loved animals, and you could tell they loved him too, and were comfortable around him as they cuddled on the couch with him.
David is survived by two daughters, his father and many aunts and cousins.
A memorial service and reception will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3050 South Avenue West at 11 AM Saturday March 4th. Condolences for David’s family may be left at www.sunsetfuneralhomecemetery.com
