Ralph C. Jordan, 84, of Missoula; passed away Wednesday, December 16th 2015.
He was born March 1, 1931 in Missoula to Carl G. and Stella Cook Jordan. After he graduated from Missoula County High School in 1949, Ralph worked at Meadowland Dairy and The Wilma Theatre where he met his future wife Marilyn Gordon. They were married May 05, 1951.
Ralph was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1953 during the Korean War and served his country for two years. After returning from Korea and receiving an honorable discharge, Ralph began his career with the U.S. Postal Service and raised four children with his wife Marilyn Jordan. In 1989 he retired from the U.S.P.S. after 32 years of service.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents Carl G. and Stella Cook Jordan, siblings Carmen Lorigan, Carola Jordan, Nelva Meredith, Duane Jordan, sister-in-law Irmalee Jordan, and his son Brian Jordan. He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn Jordan; children Sheri Jordan (Missoula), Stacey Olson (Yakima), Matt Jordan (Missoula) and Dan Jordan (Missoula); grandchildren Dejah Roberts, Lynn Nealon, Matthew Jordan, Kara Reisdorph, Coby Jordan, and Taylor Jordan; and great grandchildren Liam and Owen Nealon and Leto Roberts. Brother-in-law Ted Merideth, Brother-in-law Frank Gordon (Zoe), sister-in-law Sharon Armstrong (Mert) and brother-in-law Stacey Gordon (Becky). Several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service to celebrate and remember the life of Ralph C. Jordan will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 7405 Mullan Rd.
