Missoula

Missoula — It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose “Rosie” Rogers.

Rose was born in Butte, MT on December 9th, 1966 to Joe and Rita Navarro and entered into rest on April 02, 2024.

She attended Butte High School where she met the love of her life, Scott Rogers at the age of sixteen. They married on February 28th, 1986 spending thirty-eight beautiful years as one.   In September of 1986 they welcomed their first child Ristene. They relocated to Missoula, MT in 1988. In October of 1989 they welcomed their second daughter Sarah, and their son Jordan a short time later in September of 1990. Together they built a life of love, happiness, and strength and pursued many dreams and passions together.

She was blessed with six beautiful grand-babies Mackenzie, Rhylande, Mercedes, Wyatt, Oakleigh, and Logan. She was known to them as Granny/Nana. Every day she walked this earth was for her family, especially for her babies. The strength and encouragement she gave all of them can’t be put into words.

She was blessed with eight siblings who she loved to spend time with and was always up for a family gathering as family is what meant the most to her. Walks down Harrison Avenue will never quite be the same.

Rosie loved her work family at ALPS Insurance where she was surrounded by people who loved and cared for her deeply, as she did for them. Every room she walked into truly became a brighter place just from her smile and laughter. She was the most loving and caring person and would do anything to help anybody she met. She saw the good in all and graced us all with warmth and so much love.

She loved music, going on hikes and walks, gardening, and checking out the latest brewery. She loved chasing waterfalls and was always up for an adventure. She truly lived life to the fullest and reminded us all every day to forgive quickly, laugh uncontrollably, have no regrets, and to always kiss each other goodnight. Although we lost a ray of sunshine when she went to walk with the lord, she will forever be in our hearts, and we will continue to live on for her and through her.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, six siblings, and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Navarro, mother, Rita Navarro and siblings, Diane Porter and Joseph Navarro Jr.

Until we meet again Rosie, let the sun shine down on us and may you rest in eternal peace. We love you the most.

Celebration of life will be held in the coming months.
