CLINTON ~ Sharon Mae DeMers, 62, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at her home, of natural causes.
Sharon was born in Missoula, Montana on August 28th, 1958 to Raymond Joseph and Ethna (Jo) DeMers at Saint Patrick Hospital. She was the youngest of three children with older brothers Steven Joseph and Benny Ray DeMers.
Growing up in West Riverside, MT, and attending Bonner Elementary and Sentinel High Schools, she enjoyed the friendship of many.
A zeal for the outdoors led her to a love of camping and hiking with friends and relatives, spending much time with nieces and nephews through the course of her life. Hobbies included working in her yard, reading, and most of all, her time with Sobe, her pup. Knowing she may not be able to adopt the pup, she stated, " If she is to be mine, SO BE IT." Thus, Sobe.
Some people have a caring heart. That was Sharon. Always there for those closest to her, especially her mother, Ethna.
Sharon lived a life of privacy with her pup, her hobbies, and her enjoyment of time spent with close family and friends.
For many years she worked for American Dental Manufacturing as a sales representative. Her career also led her to time spent with the Glidewell Insurance Agency, Home Health Care Providers, Opportunity Resources and eventually the Albertson's bakery in Missoula.
Lost too soon, she will be missed by those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Joseph DeMers; brother, Steven Joseph DeMers and nephew, Eric Thomas DeMers.
Surviving family members include her mother, Ethna Mae DeMers, Benny Ray DeMers with wife, Susan, nephews Bryce and Jared, nieces Kari, Joscelyn, and Erica, and Steve's wife, Gina.
A private family service will be held on Monday, August 30th at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Missoula.
Arrangements are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Missoula.
