Scott Weeks, son of Marion Hollingshead, was born February 11, 1956 in Hayward, California. He graduated from High School in Hayward and started his working career. He enjoyed his time building computer wafers before becoming a chef. He was proud of his time in the kitchen and serving the likes of Michael Landon, Jack Lemmon and Slim Pickens among others. In 1984, Scott decided to move to Missoula, Montana. He spent the rest of his working career as a mechanic and car detailer in the Missoula area. Scott met Lana at church and the two were united in marriage on September 29, 1990.
Scott was a member of the Missoula Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. If he couldn’t make services in person, he enjoyed the services on-line and holding his church family up in prayer. He enjoyed displaying his culinary skills cooking and barbequing for his friends and family. Scott loved the outdoors and would often camp with his loved ones. Around the campfire, he loved to share what he referred to as “happy thoughts” with nieces and nephews. He always enjoyed floating the rivers around Missoula. He liked antique cars and refurbishing old bikes. Scott also liked adding to his model train collection.
Above all else, Scott was a devoted husband, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. His spontaneous wit and mischievous laugh will be remembered.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lana Weeks; siblings, Carol (Tim) Garcia; Joyce Weeks; Chuck (Rena) Weeks; John Weeks and Henry Weeks; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother Marion Hollingshead; brother, Robert “Bobby” Weeks and sister, Fay Gabriel.
