William "bill" Lindquist

Our beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and grandpa was called home to the Lord on January 11, 2017 at the age of 65.
William “Bill” Lindquist was born on October 1, 1951 in Hamilton, MT to Marion and Margie Lindquist. After he graduated from Hamilton High School Bill went to work in the lumber industry in Missoula. He later worked for Beach Transportation as a driver including hauling his grand-daughters to and from school.
He had a huge open heart and was always a very caring person to all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, of 24 years, Iona, his mother, Margie Lindquist, sisters; Deanna (Bruce) Bartholomaus and Iola Lindquist, two step sons, Wayne and Frankie Rodriguez, and grandchildren, Zane, Brandi, Ciaira, Paytyn, Kaleb, Treycin, Nieces; Kayla, Megan and Angela Bartholomaus, three great nieces, and three great nephews.
Bill’s family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Sarah Scott and the staff at the Montana Cancer Center and Infusion Center for all of the love and support.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home followed by Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment.
